Kale has recently become one of the most well-known super-foods. So what the heck does “super-food” even mean?! So there’s something called an ANDI Guide (which stands for Aggregate Nutrition Density Index) which ranks foods based on their micro-nutrients, vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals, and antioxidants. Kale ranks a score of 1000 which means that it is very nutrient per calorie!
Bottom line is that this smoothie is for those who aren’t health-nuts, but want a smoothie is creamy, sweet, and won’t taste like you’re eating a salad!
